Southern Comfort 2: Stealing Kisses is the second book in the Southern Comfort series by Lisa Marie. Lilah is a divorced mother of two involved with a married man. Jon has fallen in love with a woman that will forever see him as a good friend. Lisa Marie presents a powerful love story that shows when love and lust are involved people don't often listen to reason. I
was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the plot of two people coming together to ease their loneliness of forbidden love/lust only to realize that they had yet to discover true love. The sexual encounters between Lilah and Jon were steamy. Granted the first sexual encounter was just to relive the frustration of not being with the one they truly wanted. The sexual tension between Lilah and Jon as they come to grips with their attraction is very believable. I would love to know what happens to Lilah and Jon, hopefully we will see more in this series. This story is definitely one that I will be glad to read again. 5 Stars

Fully expecting not to care for Stealing Kisses, I was pleasantly surprised by Lisa Marie’s true to life tale of love, forgiveness, and yes, even human shortcomings.  Stealing Kisses ended up being poignant and left me with a feeling of contentment that the newly seeded love of Jon and Lilah would continue to grow.  I would love to visit both characters in a future book!

A Southern Kind of Comfort is short story offering two very different characters that just happen to find themselves struggling to stay apart. What is it they say, opposites attract? Rain and Travis are definitely opposite from one another but the attraction between them is almost combustible. Whether in the midst of hot, steaming passion or a heated display of words, they seem to be perfectly matched. Lisa Marie has mixed many emotions into this wonderful short story and it appears that it is just the beginning of a delightful series. A Southern Kind of Comfort was a pleasure to read. 4 Angels!

Touch of Evil is just that…a touch of an evil that has lived for centuries, a villain without heart or morals, who preys on the unwary, to be defeated by those fighting to protect those they love.

Lisa Marie takes you to the dark side of the underworld – overran with vampires, werewolves, and denizens of the night. As you walk through her streets you will shiver as evil brushes your coattails, sigh as a love is embraced with a sensuality that knows no bounds, rally as good triumphs…as it should.

Run…don't walk to Liquid Silver books…your copy is calling your name.

Comments by Geoffrey Kidd:

The story is superbly written and engaging,
with two very likeable people finding their way to each other on what can be the most lonely night of the year for some people. The characters were well and fully drawn over the course of the story and
very likeable to boot.

And that ending,  was glorious! If I weren't a man I'd have been weeping with joy. As it was, it was a
very near thing.
